Story
Sunday 10th April i was involved in a serious accident, and had to be airlifted to Birmingham's Childrens Hospital. It's unbelievable that i was so un-hurt, but as well as a miracle, it was down to the amazing work of the people at A&E. There the reason we'll be taking part in the Brmb Walkathon. I will be walking 11km around Birmingham on Sunday 8th May, with my sister and brother-in-law. All of the money we raise goes to Birmingham Children's Hospital A&E, to help them rebuild their department, so that they can keep saving kids like me.
I'm lucky, my story has a happy ending. Please give whatever you can spare, no matter how little, because without them it could have been a different story. Help us go beyond our target! Thankyou.
Update: 01/05/11 - Practice walk on the Malvern Hills.. tiring!
Update: 08/05/11 - Atmosphere was amazing at the Walkathon, and the walk went really well. With no breaks, we managed the 11k in 2 hours 10 mins!
