Story
I will be hiking my way across both New Zealand's islands, South and North, with the occasion kayak where required (and to mix things up a bit). And I will be keeping you updated along the way as I journey my way across the Te Araroa, a pathway that runs the length of the picturesque country that is New Zealand.
The Nystagmus Network is a UK registered charity which provides support and information, raises awareness and funds research. Nystagmus Network is run by volunteers and a small staff team. They rely on fundraising, memberships, donations and gifts in wills to enable them to provide support, fund research and raise awareness of the eye condition nystagmus. Nystagmus Network have teamed up with Fight for Sight, and together they have set up an exciting opportunity for a Project Grant award. The money you donate will help raise the £250,000 required for the length of the grant which will last over three years. The grant is currently open to applicants for both clinical and non-clinical research scientists wishing to lead a research project to address sight loss associated with Nystagmus. The aim of the research is to build research capacity of post-doctoral researchers. More details to follow, but for now find further details at:
