Story
Welcome to the page for the third annual walk in memory of my son Gabriel William McLeish. We are happy to announce that this year's walk is in support of Anam Cara Fasgadh, a charity that provides respite to individuals and families affected by the loss of a child.
This year we'll be taking on the Rob Roy Way, a challenging 77-mile route through the stunning Scottish Highlands, starting in Drymen and finishing in Pitlochry. Over six days, we will be taking on this incredible challenge to raise money and awareness for Anam Cara Fasgadh, a charity that provides vital support to those who have experienced the loss of a child.
Anam Cara Fasgadh's core aim is to gift respite accommodation, recreational activities and support to families who are bereaved through the death of a baby, child or young person.
Anam Cara Fasgadh’s first caravan, Poppy’s Place, is located in the tranquil family owned Tralee Bay Holiday Park, which nestles on a peaceful bay in Argyll on the West Coast of Scotland.
Their vision is to fund the purchase and running of luxury caravans or cabins throughout the country, providing safe havens of peace for bereaved families.
By sponsoring our walkers, you can help us make a real difference to the lives of those affected by the loss of a child. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to supporting Anam Cara Fasgadh and their vital work.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to sharing our journey with you!
