Trek 24 - Suffolk Coast & Country · 11 June 2022 ·

Welcome to EAAA's Suffolk Coast & Country Trek 24 page. This team will be taking on 24 miles or 24 kilometres on Saturday 11th June 2022. When you support our trekkers with a donation, you'll be helping to keep our helicopters flying!

Story

On 11 June 2022 we're participating in a 24km walk to raise funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, which receives no regular government funding and relies entirely on the support of the community.

We live some distance from our nearest hospitals, so it's very reassuring to have this rapid, life-saving service available in times of need.

Air ambulance crews are deployed on average eight times a day, with each mission costing about £3,500. They can reach anywhere in the region within 25 minutes when every second can make a difference.
