Story

Hi folks,

Ali and I have decided to run the bristol half-marathon and we thought that rather than just do this for us we'd use it as a good opportunity to get all you lovely folk to dig into your pockets and make a donation to charitee.

We will be running for UKAN ( UK narcolepsy association), as some of you will know I have been diagnosed with Narcolepsy this year.  Most of you have been subjected to my short attention span and frequent napping, sorry to those who experienced this whilst I have been  behind the wheel.  This has been a big thing for me and Ali, having to give up my driving license back was especially hard, however we have had some phenominal support along the way.

So why are we running for the association? We are running for Narcolepsy to increase awareness and to help others to benefit from the support I have been given.  Very little known about Narcolepsy at the moment, people often have it for years before it is indentified, it can be treated too.

If you are around in brissol on the sunday the 6th of sep please come along to watch, cheer and shout anthems like, Wake me up before you go go, Sweet dreams (hmm eurythmics or marilyn?), california dreaming, day dream believer, the list goes on.

A couple of quid would be lovely,

Bob and Ali xxx
