We are raising funds in support of Beating Bowel Cancer and our Waitrose Group Charity Bike Ride "Le Tour de Group K" which will be taking in 11 branches in 4 days. from the 3rd to 6th September 2015.

We hope not only to raise funds but to increase awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer and the need for early diagnosis as it can save lives. A close friend and Waitrose partner very sadly lost his battle with this dreadful disease very recently.

If you experience one or more of these symptoms for three weeks or more you should go and see your GP.

Bleeding from the bottom or blood in your poo

A persistent change in bowel habit, especially going more often or looser stools

Abdominal pain, especially if severe

A lump in your tummy

Unexplained weight loss or tiredness.
