Story

Unfortunately the charity sector will be amongst the hardest hit as a result of the Coronavirus. As Martin House is Voices of Yorkshire’s chosen charity of 2020, we wanted to do something to try and keep funds coming in for the most incredible and deserving place you can imagine! Whilst we were lucky enough to kickstart our fundraising campaign with a £1500 donation before the lockdown began in March, this was only going to be the tip of the iceberg with 15 public appearances already confirmed throughout 2020 and many more to follow.

Thanks to the genius and painstaking efforts of one of our singers Kelly Parker, we are able to present to you our version of Queen’s Somebody To Love in all of its lip syncing glory!!! With 100 or so of our 350 members donning their VOY T-shirts and performing to the multitude of crazy harmonies that Voices of Yorkshire’s versions have become known for, we hope you’ll support us to support Martin House with a donation through the link below. Every penny of your donation will be used to support children and young people (and their families) with life limiting conditions across Yorkshire!!!!

The link to watch the performance is below and we hope you enjoy!!!!!

Thank you In advance for your generosity and I hope you are all safe and well!!

Many of their planned fundraising events have been cancelled and there is a huge income gap to fill. Please consider supporting Martin House during these very difficult times. Martin House families describe the services of the hospice as a 'lifeline' as it steps in to help them in the darkest of days.Together we can help.
