Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are excited to be singing non stop for 1/2 hour at 1.30pm Saturday 12th May within a 30 hour nonstop music event. We are splitting our funds between our local church and The British Heart Foundation.

As a choir who use West Mersea church as our rehearsal space and venue for many of our concerts we of course want to help in raising money for the new sound equipment. this will also benefit other community events such as weddings and funerals. 

Our nominated second charity is very close to our hearts- pun intended :) the funds we raise will be split 50/50 between the church and the British Heart Foundation. 

A few years ago one of our members Graham Sapsford sadly died not long after having a heart transplant, he had been on the waiting list for some time. Graham loved his music and i know he would have been involved a lot in helping this music marathon get underway. It's in his memory that we are performing. It is important not only to raise money for BHF but to bring awareness to the importance of organ donation.
