Story

Now we are (hopefully) out of COVID this run is now actually going to happen on 2nd October ! For those of you who have already donated thank you!

I am a lover of a challenge, especially if it health or fitness related. 10kms, Barrys Bootcamp classes, Half Marathons, Triathlons, F45 challenges and everything in between have all been crammed into my diary, in between the sipping of every decreasing (i promise!) amounts of sauvignon blanc. Never before have I had a stab at a marathon and now in 2020, before I get any older, it's my time to try one!

thought I'd run for charity as my mother, Netty P suffered from early onset dementia and as a result her life was cut short and our (my sisters and I) lives were changed drastically by the impact of her diagnosis. It's an illness that is likely to affect or one that has already affected many of us, I'm sure.

At the same time as making a small donation to a good cause, you can watch me reduced from sprinting speed runner to struggling around a course that is going to be a long, long way! The training has started in earnest and continues as we speak. Photos to follow.

Thanks for reading and if you are able to make a small donation I would be very grateful !
