Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!!
Now you know you can spare at least £2!!!
I have been growing my hair for a while now with the intention of donating it to the wonderful charity - Little Princesses. It is getting to a length now that is ready to be chopped and I am wanting to also raise a few pennies for the charity in the process.
The charity is in memory of Hannah Tarplee, a 'little princess' who lost her battle in June 2005. The charity was originally set up by Hannah's parents, her school and friends, The Little Princess Trust helps parents of children with cancer and other illnesses which cause hair loss to source and pay for real hair, realistic looking wigs.
They supply and fully fund the best wigs available from all over the world, especially designed for children. We also provide personal fitting and styling to ensure the wig is as close as possible to the original hair.
I am sure that many of you can imagine that for any parent, discovering your child has a serious illness like cancer or leukaemia is devastating. The trauma for both parent and child can be increased by worrying about the side effects of the treatment, particularly hair loss. Some children cope remarkably well when their hair falls out. For some children however, this can be very upsetting. This is particularly true of young girls, hence the name, Little Princesses.
So this is what I am asking ...
Everyone can spare £2. If you can donate at least £2 for my Rapunzel length hair to be cut and donated, this will make a huge difference to the charity.
£2 is all it takes. Please help as this is such a wonderful worthy cause and they do such a fabulous job.
