Story
I will be walking 100 miles this bank holiday, following the Teesdale way from Dufton in Cumbria all the way to Redcar- ending at the North Sea.
If you would like to help me raise funds to support the centre after a hard year, and give me (and Monty) some extra motivation, that would be so lovely of you!
This year has been hard on charities that rely on visitors.
The Scottish Seabird centre provides vital education and conservation work inspiring the conservationists of the future to protect our fragile marine world.
It is a place I love and treasure, and one that deserves support. Their education and conservation activities are designed to motivate people to make positive changes in their own lives to protect the marine environment now and in the future.
Over 6,500 species of animals and plants have been recorded in our waters and our coasts and islands are home to internationally important seabird populations, many of which are in steep decline.
Thank you so much!
