Story
My mum always sent me to the hairdresser and my hair has been shoulder length for most of my teens, even shorter as a kid. After leaving for university I haven't had any major haircuts for around 5 years and my hair is now 28 inches. It was starting to become quite troublesome to maintain and I figured I may as well go out and cut a lot to charity!
My hair is approximately 28 inches and I plan to cut around 14 inches of hair. If you think about it. Walking without any hair would leave your scalp nippy (if you're based in the UK) and would take a tool to your self esteem. It must be an awful situation to see your hair fall out at a young age (or any age).
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers.
