Story
I am taking part in this year's Aberdeen Kiltwalk in support of the National Trust for Scotland. I work as a Ranger for this amazing charity to help proect Scotland's heritage through nature conservation.
As a charity, the NTS takes care of 76,000 hectares of countryside including 8 National Nature Reserves, 46 munros, 8 historic battlefields, and a number of Sites of Special Scientific Interest (including the incredible Old Wood of Drum here in the North East).
Additionally, the Trust also are custodians of 38 gardens (with over 100,000 plant varieties), 27 castles and houses, 5 mills, 300,000 objects in collections, and an incredible 11,000 archaeological sites,
In order to protect these special places, our charity relies on donations from people like you. That is why I am hoping to fundraise for the NTS by participating with a team from our charity in this year's Kiltwalk.
Every bit helps, so thank you for your support!
