Our #DreamBigAtHome campaign:
We are adapting our work to reach as many children and young people as possible during the COVID-19 outbreak.
To address youth loneliness and support emotional well-being we have launched #DreamBigAtHome - a campaign providing:
A new website with more than 100 activities to do from home
A LIVE programme of games, singing, story-telling and more
Social action workshops, supporting young people to create their solutions to community issues
It means I get to see and speak to people who are not my family. This makes me happy. I like talking, playing games and making stuff. It keeps my mind off corona.

We need your help
To meet the needs of children and young people we need your help:
£15,000 could help us to continue to deliver remote and online programme activities
£10,000 could help us to adapt our work and train our 3,000 volunteers in online safety, bereavement support and social distancing
£5,000 could help us to develop more #DreamBigAtHome activities
Funds raised through this campaign will also contribute to Woodcraft Folk's running costs and charitable objectives. Like most organisations, COVID19 has interrupted our usual charitable activities - our groups cannot meet, our camps and events have been postponed and our residential centres stand empty. We predict that we will experience a £1.5 million reduction in planned income during 2020. Despite facing financial difficulties, we remain committed to delivering our aims and principles to children and young people - continuing to deliver education for social change.
About Woodcraft Folk
At Woodcraft Folk we believe passionately in equality and co-operation: everyone is welcome to join us. Our aim is to have great fun, but also to develop children's self-confidence and build their awareness of society around them. Through our activities, outings and camps we help our members to understand important issues like the environment, world debt and global conflict, to develop activities focused on sustainable development, and to encourage children to think, hoping that they will help build a peaceful, fairer world.
