During the COVID-19 outbreak, St John is actively supporting ambulance services, hospitals and communities to protect life and health through this worrying and uncertain period.

Story

Help us ease the strain during the COVID-19 outbreak. Our dedicated St John Ambulance volunteers are standing by to relieve pressure on our NHS by boosting the health response in communities across the country.

To support our amazing St John people, #TeamSJA have challenged #TeamCPP to travel from our most Northern SJA building in Berwick to our most Southern in Penzance, a total of 540 miles.

CPP, Collaborative Procurement Partnerships, are an organsiation that deliver procurement initiatives to source and supply our NHS with surgical medical equipment.  They ensure the NHS have the right medical kit at the right time & price.  Two amazing groups coming together in times of crisis!

The event: we can cover mileage by virtually walking, cycling, running or dancing.  Everything counts.  Weekly updates as to how the teams are getting on will be published and the first team to reach Penzance wins!

Lets introduce the teams:  #TeamSJA - Fiona Chamberlain, Cathryn Hobbs, Joe Shaw, Alison Cook, Katie Knowles, Caryl Thomas & Linda Munton

#TeamCPP - Helen Lisle, Claire Povey, Kieron Smith, Rachel Lawton, Deborah Collins, Victoria Remington-Smith & Liz Gandara.
