We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

We are living in a period of time where we are all separated. But, that's no excuse to not come together and have a night to remember.

Ever attended a charity ball? Of course you have! Well, it's that, but from the comfort of your own kitchen. Sounds good, doesn't it.

Go on, dress up, make a special meal (or order a take away) and join others doing the same. Get friends and family involved too. Set up a separate video call with them and hey presto - you've got yourself a table!

Let's get together, have a laugh and raise some money for the Stroke Association's befriending telephone service appeal. As a result of COVID-19, stroke survivors and carers are now more isolated than ever. The Stroke Association aims to provide a 1-2-1 telephone service, which may be a lifeline to a vulnerable person at this difficult time.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
