Virginie's Great Wall half-marathon

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have been running for a while now, and have always run better when I support a cause, because it is where there is a meaning that the effort is worth it. So much is happening everyday, it is hard to chose a cause, so I chose something that affects the people I love, or a population who suffers and especially children because they are the most vulnerable. I started in England with Cancer Research, a short 10k run, then a full marathon in Brighton in 2010 in support for the Guide Dogs Association. Now I will be running this half-marathon on Saturday to help Save the Children collecting money to go over there in NEPAL to support the children who have suffered a major earthquake that killed thousands of people on 25th of April and now ANOTHER earthquake today (7.4), 12th of May.
The work of Save The Children in Nepal recently since the earthquake on 25th of April:
Their teams have reached more than 37000 families. Blankets. tarpaulins, baby packs, soap have been provided to those affected in the hardest-hit regions outside the Kathmandu valley.
More than 160,000 homes have been completely destroyed, and familes are homeless and living in camps.
We've now set up a safe space for children to rest and play in the wake of the disaster in Bhaktapur.
