Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When you wake up on Christmas day, looking forward to presents and turkey and all that, I will be somewhere close to Everest Base Camp, wheezing and staggering, it'll likely be about minus 20 and by then my nephew and travelling partner, Connor (see picture) will probably be carrying me. 

We've paid for the trip ourselves, but, as its going to be quite a challenge (particularly for an old man like me) we thought we could use the opportunity to raise a few pounds for Cancer Research, Tesco's charity of the year and a brilliantly impressive organisation.
