Story
My name is Vinay Sonchatla. My father died after being diagnosed with Cancer in October 2018. One of the struggles my father and many other patients in Ward D3 experienced was finding their veins when taking blood or inserting other medicinal devices. This can be extremely tricky for patients who have undergone chemotherapy. Ward D3 at Southampton General Hospital is a Cancer Care unit and is now in need of a 2nd "Vein Finder". Each machine costs approximately £3900. This ward truly provides fantastic care and this equipment will be most welcome. I have seen the first machine which we raised funds for in use and it really is cutting edge. It makes a huge difference for the patients and especially the elderly. Your donation will help buy a 2nd "Vein Finder". The first Vein Finder is now in use in Ward D3 but we are now aiming to raise funds for a 2nd machine. Thank you
