The Rural Africa Children’s Education Trust (RACET - https://www.racet.org) is a UK registered charity, established in 2008 to advance secondary education in rural Nigeria. 

RACET works solely to improve the quality of life and education for Nigerian children in remote and impoverished communities, such as Ntrigom in Cross River State, where a significant number of families are subsistence farmers who cannot afford the cost of secondary school.

Without RACET to cover the gap, talented children would be left behind and unable to complete their education. 

No amount is too small as your donation will go a long way in alleviating and breaking the cycle of poverty in this underdeveloped region.

RACET relies on donations from individuals and families, like you, mostly in the UK. 

Below are examples of how far your donation will go in  lending a helping hand:

£10 Donation - A Luci Solar lantern for a child so they can study and complete homework at night.

£30 Donation - All the textbooks a child will require for their entire 3 year Secondary School Education program.

£50 Donation  - Sanitary towels for 20 girls to cover a whole academic year.

£120 Donation - Will send a promising child to school for 1 year: covers tuition, textbooks, exam fees & writing materials.

We wish to thank you in anticipation of helping VIN Club raise £5,000 for RACET to ensure no child is denied an education due to poverty.
