Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.
Villiers Road, a unique project, was opened in 1992 and provides accommodation for nine Asian men and women with enduring mental health problems, providing support which is culturally and linguistically sensitive to residents' needs. The project was reconfigured to sustain only 50% BME referrals in 2006.
To celebrate the longstanding success of this project the project intends to hold a sponsored walk in Southall Park on Monday 12th November. Please dig deep and donate generously to this essential service. Every donation, no matter how big or small, is very much appreciated.
The aim of the service is to provide a safe and supportive environment where tenants can develop the emotional and practical skills needed to manage their lives and to use support networks in the community. Service users may have issues around: dual diagnosis, anger management/mental health/drug and or alcohol related problems.
Our Targets:
£80 will provide gardening activities for the service
£200 will provide exercise equipment for the service
£300 will provide service user activities, including refreshments for a year,
£400 will provide practical training for service users for one year
£500 will provide outings for service users for one year
£600 will cover our PC broadband charges for one year
We need your help to reach our target!
