Charity Fund Raising Events

16th - 18th June: Members of Villerica & Friends of the Lodge have arranged a 270 mile Sponsored bike ride to Waterloo to mark the 200th Anniversary of the famous Battle. please use Just Giving to sponsor us,

24th July:Members of Villerica & Friends of the Lodge have arranged  a charity Golf day at Langdon Hills, You can enter or Sponsor a hole on this Just Giving page.  

WM particular interest in the Tree of Hope charity is due to a work colleague and friend whose lovely young daughter Ava who suffers from a number of medical conditions of which the Tree of Hope assists greatly in specialist treatment and assistance.

Tree of Hope offers hope to families of sick and disabled children across Essex and the U.K who need specialist medical treatment, surgery and therapy that is not available on the NHS with the guidance and approval of medical practitioners,

Tree of Hope fund grants for medical treatment within the private sector of medicine within the U.K and will also fund treatment and surgery abroad, where specific knowledge and facilities are available, in order to ensure children can access the best treatment possible, without delay!

They are passionate about improving the lives of disabled children and their families. 

They are a life line to parents who have nowhere left to turn and are literally transforming lives, making dreams come true. Thanks to Tree of Hope, parents have been able to realise dreams that most of us take for granted, to see their child stand, witness them take their first steps, to hear them laugh for the first time or say mum, all simple things that are part of a natural progression of development for most children but are a miracle for children with additional needs.
