London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
It is with great honour that I have been chosen to run the London Marathon 2019 in support of Bowel Cancer UK, a charity that works tirelessly for people like my Uncle Michael who have been through the trauma of being diagnosed with the disease.
When cancer enters your family, you come to realise time is valuable and loved ones are precious. Luckily for us, through the support and expertise of the NHS and Bowel Cancer UK, Michael has received the news all cancer sufferers want to hear - he is in the clear, but so many others are not. We must, must do our bit to stop this awful illness effecting so many amazing people.
Running 26.2miles (or 42km) may seem like an impossible challenge but is nothing compared to the emotional and physical battle against cancer. I do this run for Michael, and for every other wonderful dad, mum, uncle, auntie, grandad, grandma, brother, sister, nephew, niece or friend who face thier challenges every day. Please help me help them to have more time with thier loved ones by enabling Bowel Cancer UK to continue thier work.
Thank you for your support and sponsorship, every pound makes a difference.
