Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know back in 2009 we were delivered the devastating news that my wonderful Dad had been diagnosed with cancer. Following a courageous battle Dad lost his fight in Feb 2010 only 8 months after his diagnosis. In the end it was important to him, and us, that he could spend his last days at home with us. This was made possible the help of the MacMillan Nurses. The nurses were brilliant, not only helping with the medication Dad needed but to keep us all informed of what was happening and why. This made it all a lot easier for us and when the time came we were all ready, well, as ready as you can be. It is for this I will be ever grateful to MacMillan and I have been raising money for them for 5 years, hoping my small contribution will help another family in the same way we were helped. In August 2015 I am taking part in Ride 100 just two weeks before my wedding! I'd like to raise £300 but really just as much as people can spare is gratefully recieved.
