VICTORIA & ALEX'S NATIONAL THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE
Fundraising for St George's Hospital Charity
Fundraising for St George's Hospital Charity
What was just an idea as abit of a joke has turned in to reality and we will be attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the NHS (specifically St George's Hospital in Tooting) in memory of our Dad.
Dad had a stroke in 2017 and sadly lost his battle in November 2019. Dad always felt we were so lucky to have the NHS and all the hard work they do and over the years they cared for him amazingly.
The NHS obviously needs no introduction, they are all heroes especially during this pandemic and it felt fitting for us to raise money for them. Dad was also pretty great too!!
The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the 3 highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, with the goal to complete within 24hrs (weather, traffic and legs permitting!!). The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) with a total ascent of 3,064m (10,052ft). We will be climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales and will probably wish we’d done a few more squats in our training!
We would appreciate any donation, small or large, just grateful for any contributions. Thank you from both of us for your support.
