Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My daughter, Jessica, is 11 years old. She has very long hair and she has been growing it for years for a very special reason. She heard about ‘The Princess Trust’ and how they provide wigs to girls who lose their hair through cancer treatment. She wanted to do that for a poorly girl and decided to start growing her hair.
She has finally decided to go for it. She is very nervous because she loves her hair. When we talked about how horrible people must feel when they lose their hair, she remembered 2 very special ladies who lost their hair when they had treatment for cancer. Grandma Joan sadly passed away when Jessica was 2, she lost her hair through chemo and faced the whole situation with such bravery. Last year Jessica’s Auntie Nancy passed away and she also lost her hair through chemo. Auntie Nancy’s hair, along with her beautiful smile, was probably her most memorable feature. Jessica wants to raise money for Pendleside Hospice in their memory.
Please give what you can to support two very special causes. The more we raise, the easier it will be for Jessica to get it cut! She will go from waist length hair, to a bob!
Jessica’s hair will go to The Princess Trust to provide a wig for a little girl and the money raised here will go to Pendleside Hospice.
