Story
Victoria Ross accompanied five amazing students from Abbey Hill Sixth Form on a 5k walk from Marske to Redcar, all to raise funds for children in Nepal. The walk, staged over 4 days, was a massive achievement for the students.
Victoria, who works for the Horizons Specialist Academy Trust providing infinite Opportunities for their students, will travel to Nepal this coming November as a volunteer with Adventure Aid Nepal.
The group of 15 people hope to raise a combined total of £10,000 to help paint 2 schools, purchase and deliver new uniforms and equipment for 250 children (it costs just £20 to give a child new hope with a school uniform, shoes, rucksack, pencils and books), to provide a new community library of 1,500 books and to buy and help plant 2,500 fruit saplings during their visit.
Help Victoria reach her personal target of £1000 and let the efforts of these amazing students make a difference to the lives of children in Nepal
