Story
We are intending to walk the Cotswold Way in six days. We will be starting the walk on the 5th April. So blisters aside we intend to do the 104 miles for a charity that is very close to our hearts. This charity is the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Our son Harry has Cystic Fibrosis and as anyone that knows him can testify he is incredibly well due to the current treatments. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust in the main UK charity that promotes and funds life-saving research into the treatments that keep Harry so well. They are always looking for new treatments that will lead to either a cure or better management of the condition.
Cystic fibrosis is a life-shortening inherited disease, affecting over 10,000 people in the UK. You can't catch or develop cystic fibrosis, it's something you're born with and most cases in the UK are now diagnosed soon after birth. There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis, and each week in the UK two lives are lost to the condition. However, understanding and treatment of cystic fibrosis are improving all the time.
