Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

I was entered into the Cardiff 1/2 marathon by a friend and would never have considered entering it myself, I am not a natural runner, in fact I'm not a runner at all. Anyway i accepted the challenge and have to my surprise enjoyed the preparation.

Once my training was underway I began to think it was actually possible to do this and I  decided that it was an opportunity to raise some money for Motor Neurone Disease  Association(MND).

Dave's mum, Shirley, passed away on 15th Oct 2009 having suffered from this horrible disease. The charity provided her and Bill with great support. If by doing this run and getting you lot to pay  then maybe they can provide that for someone else.

Oh, and if you fancy a bit of entertainment on the 17th Oct come and support the run.
