It's approaching 2 years since my dad lost his long battle with cancer. To mark this anniversary, I've decided to do the hottest, shortest sponsored walk in the world - the Firewalk -  to support the Ayrshire Hospice who did so much for my dad in his final weeks. 

Ayrshire Hospice has been the sole provider of specialist palliative care across Ayrshire and Arran for over 30 years. Now they really need help to ensure that they can keep delivering their services for the next generations. Their Capital Build Project has the aim of raising £13 million to build a new Ayrshire Hospice fit for the future and able to meet the needs of their patients, carers and families, in an environment that supports care, dignity and respect for the needs of the individual and also support Ayrshire and Arran residents reaching end of life to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
