The Big Push 2013 · 12 April 2013
From the second you find out you are pregnant, your heart fills with excitement, nerves and anticipation. Most woman are scared in some form or another, be it of the labour, or the actual progression to being a mum. For some, the birth of a baby begins an isolating time filled with anxiety and stress, a sign of postnatal depression. The National Childbirth Trust (NCT) is there to help parents through everything. They support you from the day you find out your pregnant right the way until your baby is 2 years old. The NCT is the largest charity just for parents, and on the 18th May 2013, I will be participating in The Big Push in Ely, Cambridgeshire, to raise money for the NCT. This consists of pushing my son round the town, for a 3 mile walk, whilst 31 weeks pregnant.
My name is Vicky Oldham and I have a 1 year old son and am pregnant with my daughter who is due in July. I have friends and family who have required the support of NCT in the past and it is a charity very close to my heart. I am hoping to raise £50, so please support me and dig deep.
If you would like to participate in The Big Push 2013, then there is a £5 joining fee.
Thanks
