I have decided to join in with the MND National campaign of Silence Speaks which is raising awareness of the struggles people face when diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease where one of the first things they lose is the ability to speak. I will b doing my full shift 7am till 4pm on a busy Butchers counter at Booths in Barrowford without speaking. I would appreciate any donations that people can offer and I have chosen to donate my sponsorship locally to Lancashire and South Cumbria Motor Neurone Disease Care & Research Centre who have supported my grandparent and us as a family since their diagnosis. Let's hope through research they can one day find a cure so other sufferers and families don't have to experience this devastating disease.
