Story
I have the privilege of serving on the board of CCI which serves a low-income high needs population in Greenwich through academic, behavioral, and emotional programming. Staff and volunteers met the challenges of the pandemic head on by implementing programming remotely, creating a learning pod for high school students, and addressing the tremendous increase in food insecurity in our community.
CCI pivoted to meet the needs of its clients by delivering fresh produce, groceries, meat and dairy twice a week to over 350 people. In the middle of this pandemic CCI inaugurated their first virtual walk-a-thon to help raise vitally needed funds to enable us to continue our work.
On May 16th we will “move” for CCI. Please join us, either by setting up your own virtual event, or by supporting us as we walk Tod’s Point for CCI.
Thank you for your support.
