It’s been a long journey to get to the starting point of this Channel relay due to Covid-19.

In 2019 we had a team of 5 Swimmers, then unfortunately one of our swimmers tragically lost his life in a swim event in America.  This is why we are named The Charles Van Der Horst Memorial Swimmers. 

We were then meant to start the Relay in July 2020, but it was postponed due to the epidemic. Then this year we lost 2  of our international swimmers because of restrictions with travel. So Jan and Lisa very kindly stepped up and joined our team.

Our slot to swim is between 15-21 June 2021. We’re all very excited and and would like you to follow our journey and donate a little to this worthy Charity..
