Rather then a typical Saturday night out on the town this weekend I will be walking 10 miles around Oxford. The walk starts at 10.30pm and i will be raising money for Sobell House Hospice. My friend and colleague, Bethan, and her freinds and family, received much comfort earlier this year when Bethan died from cancer.

I have already raised £8500.00 for Cancer research UK after my grandad died 13 years ago. Unfortuneatly my husbands grandad is now also terminally ill and the comfort and support from Sobell House that Bethan received is likely to be needed by my family soon.

Before bethan died I promised that I woiuld raise another £2500.00 for cancer realted charities to bring the total to £10000.00. So this moonlight walk is getting me on the way.
