This is only my 2nd marathon but I intend to work hard to beat my time from the London Marathon last year (3:52)and raise some money again for Cancer Research UK.

I thought long and hard about all of the very worthwhile charities but my gut and heart tells me Cancer Research UK, not just because I lost my Mum at an early age, to bowel cancer, but because as I become older, this cruel disease continues to take or affect many people I know, my own age and even younger.
