Fundraising for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity
Story
I will be taking on Cardiff half marathon on Sunday 1st October 2023 - this time for a very special cause.
Sands works to support anyone affected by the death of a baby; improve the care bereaved parents receive; and create a world where fewer babies die.
Sands is determined to make a real difference to the lives of bereaved families across the UK. But we can only continue to deliver our crucial work with your support.
When you donate or fundraise for Sands, you are supporting our vision of a world where fewer babies die and helping to ensure that every bereaved family, wherever they live in the UK, gets the care and support they need, when they need it, for as long as they need it.
We achieve this by:
- Supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby,
- Improving bereavement care,
- Promoting research to save more babies' lives.
Any amount however small would be gratefully received for this amazing cause.
