Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Nearly 10 months ago we lost a great man, Uncle Kevin, to a rare brain tumor. He had been fighting the battle with it for over 4 years and had put up a good fight, travelling the world to see the best specialists to help him.
At the same time as this devastating event happened I was moving to Australia so I never got to go to Kevin’s funeral and pay my respects and condolences to his amazingly gorgeous wife Karen. So to Kevin and Karen, this is my little token to say I love you lots and you are always in my heart, you may not be blood related but you most definitely are my aunt and uncle.
Now, as many of you know I love exercise but have never been one to stay at the gym any longer than an hour, so running 21km or 12.5 miles (sounds more impressive in Km) is going to be an extreme challenge both mentally and physically. This challenge is nothing compared to the battle that Kevin persevered through so I would kindly ask for you to donate as much as you can to help others who are fighting the same battle Kevin did and to help those in the future by supporting the research so others don't even have to put on the boxing gloves!!
The southern hemisphere is now supporting you Kevin :) Love to you both K&K
Thank you everyone, now i best go and do some more training!!
Vicky
