We change lives and give a brighter future to those affected by Rett syndrome. Now.

Story

Having watched the Bath Half last year I decided that this year I would enter. As well as running the Half marathon i have also given up alcohol from new year until the race day and all money I am raising is going to Rett Syndrome UK.

Rett Syndrome is a neurological disorder that hinders development and leaves people with severe learning and movement difficulties. This makes them completely dependent on others for their entire life. Unfortunately this was the syndrome my aunt was born with; she has very limited vocabulary, brain development and physical ability and is completely dependent on a carer and my family. I would like to raise money for Rett Syndrome UK as they continue to research into cures as well as supporting families of those suffering.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated (and if you're in Bath on March 6th then please come along!)

Anyone who would like to learn more about the charity can go to: http://www.rettuk.org

Many thanks,

Victoria :)
