Story
I'm Embarking on two trips of a life time, trekking up mount Kilimanjaro (5895m) in July and the long journey of John'O groats to Landsend 874 miles (1,407 km) via bike with my brother Conor Bannister and dad Chris Bannister and finally august 24 I will be taking part in the Youth Triathlon in Stockholm, doing a good stretch of 400m swim 10 k Bike ride and a 2.5k run to finish it off.
Torn between many charities, but having chosen this one 'Born Free Foundations' as they take action worldwide to protect threatened species and stop individual animal suffering. Born Free believes wildlife belongs in the wild and works to phase out zoos. They rescue animals from lives of misery in tiny cages and give them lifetime care.
We come into the world, the world where they too have a right to share with us, yet many of us don't given them a second thought and although mostly unaware, we can't be so naive to think we are fair with them. Capturing and caging animals for our own benefits. Hunting down and parading around with their corpses to raise our ego's. Its an unfair world for us. Imagine what its like for them.
I'm doing these trips 1) to expireince the majestic ways of life in their true elemnts 2) Push my body and mind, prove how strongly I feel for the situation 3) so I can tell people about it and let them tell others.
