Story
38 miles to date done.
28 mile completed up to now still along way to go.
well today is the day first of 125 days. donations are slowly coming in only £5 way from the target am hoping to raise alot more than just that once people start to see I am seriois at completing this challenge.
Well its friday so that only mean 2 days to go. T shirts are sorted, mapping app on the phone, tracker milage sheet printed. just need to get my access pass to get in to Astley Sport Village and then I am off to be honest am not a runner but I cant wait the hardest bit is just working around my unsocialable shifts but once I get going it will be a doddle. On some of the days mite even take my camera out while am om location for photographic opportunities.
thank you to everyone who has donated already. Only 3 more days to go then its game on.
As you all are aware of the tragic day on the 18th Sept 2012 where two fine Police officers Pc Nicola Hughes and PC Fiona Bone was killed while on duty in Tameside.
Bryn Hughes who is PC Nicola Hughes father has set up the PC nicola Hughes memorial fund raising money for three charities:
- Victim Support
- Care of police survivors
- North West police benevolent fund
The aim with the run to remember is to run 2 miles a day every day for 125 days.
I haven't done any running as such since cross country running at school so this is also a personal challenge for myself and any amount will help, and remember I will be doing this even on Christmas day! And around my unsociable working hours too.
I would like to say thank you to Astley Sport Village who will be letting me use there facilities while I take on the Run To Remember for the PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund.
Thank You in advance for the donations.
