I'm doing this sky dive in memory of a very special young lady who was taken from us so suddenly, harshly and unkindly...so it's important to me and our family that her memory stay strong. Lauren was my gorgeous little bridesmaid in 2007. Fun, cheeky, coy, stunningly beautiful and was beginning to bloom into an amazing young woman. But within 6months, just after her 14th birthday in 2009, despite the most enduring love, care and attention from her mum, dad, sister & family, my little Lollipop (Lauren) was gone....leaving the biggest hole in our entire family. We miss her everyday. My little boy was in my tummy....but knows her well from pictures & stories. We long to see her at family get togetherness. And we remember her at the various "happy" times in the year. 

Lauren's memory lives on strongly with Natalie, Lauren's sister who was inspired by her sister and has dedicated her time and career to help cancer patients & their siblings. She has recently started work for CandleLighters and is a true inspiration.

So on Sun 29th March Ill jump from a plane with Lauren's mum and sister to remember her....and I know she'll be laughing and thinking we are bonkers...but she is worth it!! If she can be that strong for so long....I'm sure I can be a little bit brave just once. Wish me luck and thank you for sponsoring me.
