This autumn I am running the Oxford half marathon for the work of Hagar International UK. They work with people who have suffered the trauma of slavery, trafficking, and abuse. The problem of human trafficking and modern slavery is huge: more than 40 million people worldwide are estimated to be victims of modern slavery. Three quarters of those are women and girls.
