Story

Emilys 13th fund raiser

Hi everyone my name is Emily Delicate and here is my story 😊

On the 9th April i will be 13 wow 13 my mam and dad said i am the luckiest girl ever and i certinaly believe so aswell.

On the 9th April 2008 my mam was in hospital as her waters broke all excited my mam and dad couldnt wait to meet me.

My mam was in hospital when her placenta errupted πŸ’”πŸ’” there was blood all over and the placenta was on the floor, my dad called for the midwife as soon as they seen they pressed an alarm and the room was filled up with about 20 people all looking worried (my mam remebers it like it was yesterday πŸ’”)

Anyway my mam was rushed to theater where she was put to sleep and i was delivered my emergency ceserian.

I wasnt breathing when i was born but the beautiful midwife never give up on me 17min it was before i was breathing πŸ˜₯

(Whilst all this was going on my poor dad was passed himself not knowing if me or mam was alive).

I was rushed to the neonatal unit where i was placed on life support machine, very poorly and only given 5% chance of survival.

The next day my Dad had to break the news to my Mam on how poorly i was and that i may not survive so had to prepare themselves for the worst πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”.

My Mam still hadn't seen me because she was so poorly herself we both had to have blood transfusions.

My mam and dad said all the days went into one so cant really remember days when things happened.

The consultant wanted to take me from north teese to Middlesbrough hospital to get a brain scan but as i was so poorly they didnt know if i would survive the journey but it needed to be done.

On the way to Middlesbrough i arrested 2x we think it was needed to have to be rescucitated.

Once i got there the brain scan had no activity at all it was dead πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”

My mam and dad were told the devistating news that if i did survive i would be brain dead and possibly have cerebral paulsy  and to think about turning the life support machine off.

There was no need to think about this my mam and dad said there was no way they would do this and they would love and care for me always 😍😍😍😍

Aftet this my organs started to fail πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’” there wasnt anything else the drs could do mam and dad were heart broken.

The drs had a meeting with Mam and dad and they had something to ask πŸ˜ƒ

There was this new treatment called Hypothermia therapy where they reduce the body temperature to kick start the organs they were told it might not work but asked if they could do it.

The answer was yes defenatly 😍

Anyway after the treatment my organs started to work 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

After that i was getting better and better my mam and dad were allowed to hold me 😍😍😍😍😍

I still wasnt out of the woods my mam and dad were told i am now off life support but once i was well enough to go home they have to give me the best life they can as i probably wouldn't be able to walk, talk basically id be in a vegetave state πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί. And id have severe cereal paulsy.

Anyway if you have read all that thank you πŸ˜ƒ

As im coming up 13 i want to rase money for the nnu in north teese  who saved my life so I am going to rase money for them my aim is Β£250 as ive rased Β£200 in the past for them so want to beat that πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

What i am going to do as im a lazy teenager now is walk from my house owton manor area to seaton carew and back  but cos I dont stop talking i will be doing this in silence (my mam will be happy as she will be walking with me).

So If anyone wants to sponser me i would apreciate it loads 😍😍😍😍😍.
