Before Covid 19, volunteers across the UK organised and attended hundreds of bucket collections in supermarkets, garden centres and high streets to raise vital funds for Dogs for Good. This year, most of the collections have been cancelled and it is uncertain when they will be able to resume. As a result Dogs for Good has lost thousands of pounds in much needed income.
During International Assistance Dog Week, from the 2nd - 8th August, I am holding a virtual collection to help raise funds so Dogs for Good can continue to make life-changing differences for people with disabilities through the power of expertly trained dogs.
Please donate if you can. Here are some examples of how your donation can help:
£4.69 could cover the cost of an assistance dog for one day.
£9 could pay for a uniform for a dog-in-training.
£15 could buy a new collar and ID tag for a puppy-in-training.
£30 could cover the cost of a puppy class, giving the puppies space to learn and play.
