Hi everyone,

We have decided to run the Bupa Great Manchester 10km run in May to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.
This charity is very close to our family's hearts and all the money raised will go to supporting people suffering with dementia and their carers.

Any donation is greatly appreciated and will really make a difference:

 £5 could pay for one person to attend a half hour session at a Dementia Cafe, which provides information and support for dementia sufferers.

 £10 could pay for one person to call the Alzheimer's Society's Helpline to receive the instant support they need.

Our aim is to reach £500 which is enough to pay for 12 carers to attend the Carers' Programme, which offers practical advice and stategies to help carers cope with the impact of dementia.
