Story
Hi All,
As most of you will already know I was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in 2012 which resulted in two major operations, the latter being the amputation of my left leg in order to save my life.
If you have been following my website www.vickiskelton.com and my video diary's on my YouTube channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/vickiskelton65
you will have seen me go through all this and more as I had Chemo, a prosthetic leg made, well four so far, and various other treatments, which are still ongoing. I am still having CT Scans every six months to make sure I am clear of the cancer, keep your fingers crossed!
Just an up date, June 2014..... More then probably I will be having a another operation in November this year to hopefully help solve some of my problems I'm having with my little leg.
I still would like to do my bit, with the help of you and ask that you help me raise money via Race For Life, (A five kilometre run) obviously I won't be running as I only have one leg but I will walking for a bit as well as pushing myself in my wheelchair when my leg hurts or if I get too tired.
The Race For Life takes place in Hull on Sunday 13th July 2014 and all money collected goes too Cancer Research. If you can find it in your hearts to donate, no matter how small, it will be gratefully appreciated!
