Story
On the 24th of January one of the most courageous young men lost his battle to cancer; our nephew Thomas van Haaren.
Tosh was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in February 2012 and despite months and months of gruelling chemotherapy and radiotherapy, followed by extensive leg reconstruction he graduated with a 2.1 Degree in Law from Sheffield Hallam University.
In September 2013 he started a Legal Practice Course at the Birmingham School of Law - the next stage in achieving his ambition to be a Commercial Law Solicitor.
Throughout his illness, Tosh remained positive and continued to enjoy life as much as he could; following his beloved Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart
Lane, indulging in his love of gourmet food and partying in Ibiza, sightseeing in Rome and chilling in Crete. He loved his fishing and enjoyed nothing more than a nice Chicken Tikka Masala on the bank. He was loved by so many around him including his large circle of friends and family. Heaven has certainly gained a good one this time and will forever shine through in our hearts and in the sky as the brightest star.
Rest in peace Tosh.
