What am I doing?

Between 1st November 2021 and 4th April 2022 I will be undertaking the Blue Tits Arctic Flappers Challenge.  This means I will be completing 30 open water swims and dips to raise funds for The Deptford Ragged Trust, a cause very close to my heart..  Its currently 8 degrees in my local lake.  It’s likely to get drop to around 3 degrees!!!

Why??? Here’s the important bit…..

Faced with losing our building and community space, our  church community embarked on a wildly ambitious project to build a community living space, providing 33 social rent apartments for young people in severe need, while continuing to develop and expand on the community activities we already deliver in the heart of Deptford.  And so the Ragged Trust was born…..

The Ragged Project will cost £9.45 million.  So far we’ve raised £8.25, and this is me doing my bit to get us over the finish line!!!
