Many of you will know I'm undergoing treatment for cancer at the moment. It seems practically everyone I speak to knows someone that is suffering from this indiscriminate disease.

Stand Up To Cancer is a fundraising campaign (on C4) that takes place on my 50th birthday, and it feels right to support it by raising money. The event funds research that should help 3 in 4 people diagnosed survive their cancer by 2034. 

I can't run a marathon or climb a mountain to raise money as I'm focussing my energies on getting better, but I can celebrate my birthday and ask if you might like to help fund the researchers to continue their amazing progress and join me in making a small donation to this campaign.  I've kicked off with a small donation and will top up at the end. Vicki xx
